Department of Law, AIUB has successfully arranged a ‘Career Counselling Seminar’ on March 30, 2019 in its Permanent Campus at Kuratoli, Dhaka. The program was organized under the coordination of Mr. Quazi Omar Foysal, Lecturer, Department of Law under the supervision of Professor Dr. Taslima Monsoor, Advisor, Department of Law, AIUB. The speakers of this program included Mr. Afzalur Rahman, Secretary in Charge and Deputy Secretary, Bangladesh Bar Council, Professor Dr. Farhana Helal Mehtab, Associate Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Daffodil International University, Mr. Zakir Hossein Siam, Assistant Judge and Head of District Legal Aid, Rajbari, Mr. Shihab Ahmed Shirazee, Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh, and Mr. Md. Muhibullah Tanvir, Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh. The speakers enlightened the aspirant undergrad law students of AIUB about potential career paths in the legal arena and beyond i.e. judiciary, bar, academia, corporate sector, development sector, etc.
The program started with the welcome speech by Professor Dr. Taslima Monsoor, Advisor, Department of Law, AIUB.  Mr. Manzur H. Khan, Director, Office of Students Affairs, AIUB also highlighted about the importance of this program. The aim of this learning session is to enlighten the undergrad law students of AIUB with detailed accounts of legal career prospect. Finally, Professor Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Science, AIUB has shown gratitude to the respected speakers for their wonderful participation in the event. This session concluded with the Q&A session.
