On Thursday, August 20, 2026, AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES), in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, organized the “Capstone Project Completion Summer 2025-26” at auditorium, D-Building, American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB). The exhibition served as a platform for students to showcase their capstone projects through poster presentations, highlighting their innovation, technical knowledge, and practical implementation skills.

A total of 24 groups participated in the program, comprising 20 groups from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and 4 groups from the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE). The participating groups presented their projects to internal faculty members and external guests from industry, demonstrating creativity, problem-solving skills and the practical application of engineering concepts through effective visual representation and clear explanations.

The program was honored by the presence of the following distinguished industry professionals, who served as judges: Ms. Sania Tanzin (Deputy Manager, Fiber@Home Ltd.), Mr. Md. Sadman Sakib Tushar (Chief Executive Officer, CSI Smart Tech), Mr. Md. Ajijul Bin Zabbar (Additional Director (SCM), Walton Hi-Tech PLC.), Mr. Khawja Ashhad Belal (Assistant Director, Innovation & Business Transformation, ACI Logistics Limited), Mr. Ashiqul Islam Siam (Senior Business Analyst, ACI Logistics Limited) & Mr. F. R. Md. Ali Nabi (Technical Product Coordinator, CSI Smart Tech.). They reviewed the students’ projects, provided valuable insights and constructive feedback and encouraged the participants by emphasizing the importance of innovation, practical problem-solving, and industry readiness.

Following the presentations, outstanding projects were recognized through nominations for Best Project and Best Poster Group. The awards were presented by Dr. Mohammad Abdul Mannan (Professor & Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB), Dr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan (Professor & Director, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB), Mr. Nafiz Ahmed Chisty (Associate Professor & Head [EEE], AIUB), Dr. M. Tanseer Ali (Associate Professor & Head [Graduate Program, EEE], AIUB), Dr. Md. Ehasanul Haque (Associate Professor & Head [IPE], AIUB) & Dr. Ebad Zahir (Associate Professor & Special Assistant [EEE], AIUB). During the Token of Appreciation segment, Dr.  Mannan presented tokens of appreciation to the invited guests in recognition of their valuable contributions. The event concluded with a group photograph, capturing the enthusiasm and accomplishments of the participants.
