“Business Plan Exhibition” (March20-22, 2011) was inaugurated at 1:30 pm on Sunday, March 20, 2011 in the study area of Campus 1. The Honorable Associate Dean Dr. Matiur Rahman; Director, MBA Dr. Nisar Ahmed and Head of Management Department Mrs. Farheen Hassan, inaugurated the event. Coordinator of the event was Mrs, Samia Shabnaz, Faculty, Management Department, Sheikh Ashiqur Rahman Prince, Assistant Professor, Management Department along with other faculties and students wwere also present. The event was part of the HR Carnival 2011 organized by AIUB Society 4 HR.
The His Excellency the Ambassador of Spain, Mr. Arturo Perez Martnez; Honorable Vice Chancellor of AIUB, Dr. Carmen Z Lamagna; Mr. Kutubuddin Ahmed, Chairman of Envoy Group, Chairman of Sheltech Pvt. Ltd, and Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association; Mr. Ashok Kumar Sing, Country Head, Aditya Birla Group, Bangladesh; Engr. Md. Shamsul Islam, Assistant Manager, System Protection & Grid Su-division, Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (DESCO) visited the exhibition.
The exhibition displayed by selected students from the course Entrepreneurship Development. The presentation skill and nicely crafted posters and models were highly appreciated by the spectators. The exhibition was only possible because of the spontaneous hard work of the respective teachers and students along with the support provided by the administration. Their relentless effort is praiseworthy. The valued participation of the distinguished guests and their short speech inspired those who were present. The exhibition remained open for all till Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
The adjudged winners are as follows:
Champion: “Bamboo Tiles” – by Rezaur Rahman, Md. Hasan Mahadi, Md. Mahmud Hasan, Annysha Rahman
1st Runner Up: “Tree House Resort” – by Nazmul Hoque Niddun, Salman Ahmed, Emran Ali, Shifat Jahan Rupa.
2nd Runner Up: “Plastic Recycling Plant” –by Sabrina Mahbub, Joya Rani Das, Moutoshi Ghosh, Saheli Tabasum
The Honorable Ambassador of Spain, Mr. Arturo Perez Martnez , the Chief Guest of HR Carnival 2011 handed out the certificates among the winners during the closing ceremony.
