| Tying knots to the bamboo frames with wires, painting of masks, cutting of colorful papers and cloths & pasting of some, giving finishing touches to the gigantic peacock, the colorful tiger, the butterflies or the giant bees – Department of Architecture is immensely busy now with the preparation work for arranging of the “Borsho-Boron Rally 1418”. It has become a tradition now for the Architecture Department at AIUB to arrange a colorful rally on the occasion of Bengali New Year’s Day every year and this year too is no different. The students along with the faculty guides have been working hard for the last couple of days to put the show together. Hopefully the arrangements this year would be better than the previous ones since the amount of involvement and enthusiasm till now is really appreciable. We hope to see you all participating at the rally on 1st of Baishakh, 1418 (April 14, 2010) starting from campus 7 at 10:30 am. Here’s a glimpse of the backstage for you to anticipate.
