BBA team (Storm Breakers) is the champion of AIUB Inter Department 6-A-SIDE Football Tournament 2011. The tournament started on June 9, 2011 at the Banani Club ground with 32 teams from all the departments including two faculty/ administration teams. One BBA team (Storm Breakers) and one EEE team (UB Soccer Team) reached the final of the tournament. The final was held on June 18, 2011 in the same venue where Storm Breakers (BBA) defeated UB Soccer Team (EEE). The final match was very competitive where both the teams scored 2-2 in regular time and 1-1 in the extra time. But at the end, Storm Breaker (BBA) players came out as winners scoring 2-1 in the tie-breaker. Salman of the champion team was judged Man of the Match (Final). Highest Scorer of the tournament was Mr. Sohel (Executive, HR) of Faulty/ Administration Blues Team and best goal of the tournament was scored by Mr. A.K. Nazmul (Faculty Member, FBA) of the same team. Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, VP, Academics along with Prof. Dr. Siddique Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Engineering distributed medals and trophies among the winners.
