FLASH NEWS ! BBA AND FSIT PROGRAMS GRANTED INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION BY PAASCU The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), a member of Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) awarded Full Accreditation for three years to the BBA Program while the 5 degree programs of FSIT such as: BSc in CIS; BSc in CS; BSc in CSE; BSc in CSSE; BSc in SE have been granted Candidate Status and eligible for the Formal Evaluation  within a year. The process took about 2 years to complete which include, among others, the self-survey or internal assessment and actual evaluation by the international evaluator or external evaluation. The Programs were evaluated by 7 foreign evaluators and the Secretary of UGC based on nine (9) areas: Mission and Vision; Faculty; Curriculum and Instructions; Research; Library; Student Services; Laboratories; Community Involvement; Physical Plant and Infrastructure; and Administration. These programs obtained flying colors in each of the area. It should be noted that the MBA and EMBA Programs are already internationally accredited by PAASCU effective May 2011-2012.
