The award distribution ceremony of AIUB’s 20^th Convocation was held over 2 days on November 27, 2021, and December 11, 2021, at the Amphitheater in the AIUB Campus.

On Saturday, November 27, 2021, the 3 categories of Academic Awards, Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude and Cum Laude were distributed among the recipients. There were 140 Summa Cum Laude Awardees, 149 Magna Cum Laude Awardees and 51 Cum Laude Awardees in the 20^th Convocation.

Later, on December 11, 2021, the Vice Chancellor Awards and the Dr. Anwarul Leadership Awards were distributed. 31 Graduating Students received the Vice Chancellor Awards for their meritorious efforts in the completion of the ‘Best Thesis in LLB, BSc in CSE, MDS, MPH, and MSCS’, the ‘Best Design Project in BSc in EEE and IPE, BArch, MEEE, and MTEL’, and the ‘Best Internship Report in BA, BSS, BBA, and MBA’. Dr. Anwarul Abedin Leadership Awards were distributed among 40 graduating students of the 20^th convocation. It is presented in honor of AIUB’s Founder Chairman Dr. Anwarul Abedin to the deserving regular full-time students in recognition of their outstanding voluntary efforts, exemplary performance, and noteworthy achievements and contributions in the various categories of co-curricular activities.

The awards were distributed by Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Siddique Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Mr. Pius Costa, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Taslima Monsoor, Advisor, Department of Law, Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahman, Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Mr. Mashiour Rahman, Associate Dean, Faculty of Science & Technology and Prof. Dr. ABM Rahmatullah, Associate Dean-In-Charge for the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences. The Program Directors were also present on the occasions.

Since the 20^th Convocation ceremony was held on October 10, 2021, virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the on-campus certificate distribution and photo booth was arranged for the graduates in batches from November 21, 2021 – December 7, 2021, in the campus.
