The Faculty of Business Administration organized an awarding ceremony in honor of the students who excelled in their academic performance  during the concluded Fall Semester, 2017-2018. Based on the following criteria, the students were carefully assessed to enable them to quality for these prestigious academic awards:

- DEAN’S LIST CRITERIA (Undergraduate Program)

1. Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) 3.75 during any Regular Academic Semester.
2. Eligibility: Minimum Credit Hours completed 24.
3. Minimum Credit Load during on that Semester 14/15 Credit Hours.
4. No Grade Point (GP) less than 3.25 in any course in previous record.
5. No F, no W, no UW or no I grade in any course in previous record.
6. No disciplinary action has been taken for not complying with AIUB policy.

DEAN’S HONORABLE MENTION CRITERIA (Graduate Program)

1. Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) 3.85 during any Regular Academic Semester.
2. Minimum total load completed 18 Credit Hours.
3. Minimum Credit Load during on that Semester 14/15 Credit Hours.
4. No Grade Point (GP) less than 3.25 in any course in previous record.
5. No F, no W, no UW or no I grade in any course in previous record.
6. No disciplinary action has been taken for not complying with AIUB policy.

There were 36 BBA students who successfully met the criteria while 61 from the MBA and 13 from EMBA. It was a significant event in the lives of these students to be recognized and awarded a Certificate of Recognition. They can use these certificates as a proof of their academic excellence whenever they will apply for a job or pursue higher studies. In addition to the welcome and inspirational message of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Charles c. Villanueva, a representative from the each categories  delivered a response message and also an inspirational message from one of the alumni who was also a Dean’s Lister and an Honorable mention Lister.  Both expressed their deep appreciation for the honor bestowed on them and encourage the other awardees to continue excelling in their studies. Likewise a reminder to express gratitude to the parents for their sustainable support in their studies and the faculty who are the sources of knowledge and other learning domains in their studies was expressed by  the Director of the MBA program . The event was made more significant with the presence of Prof. Dr. Md. Rafique Ullah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and honorable member of AIUB’s Syndicate   as the Chief Guest during the awarding ceremony for the Honorable Mention Awardees. His words of wisdom have truly inspired the awardees to continue their excellent academic performance. Ms. Farheen Hassan concluded the program with a  vote of thanks to the students, faculty and management for a successful and an event to remember. CONGRATULATIONS AND FBA IS PROUD OF YOU ALL !
