The annual seminar of Architecture Department of South East University was held on 12^th and 13^th December, 2014. It is a platform where every year selected people are invited to the seminar to present their paper, on related topics of architecture. This year the seminar was followed by a Day-long Design Charrette [Design Competition] open for all architecture students in the country.  In this charrette students were asked to design a memorial in remembrance of Architect Moinul Hossain , the designer of "Jatiyo Sriti Shoudha". 127 architecture students from different universities including AIUB, AUST, BRACU, BUET, NSU, SUB, UAP, SE took part. An anonymous jury was lead by the invited  jury panel consisting of eminent architects of academia & professional field - Ar. Bashirul Haque, Ar. Harun Ur Rashid, Ar. Khandaker Shabbir Ahmed, Ar. Mahmudul Anwar Riyaad and Ar.Sheikh Ahsan Ullah Mojumder. Among three prizes, students of Architecture Department of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) won two. Ahmed Sadman Zaki  and Apon Karim  in a group won the 1^st prize. And the entry of Azmul Haque won 2^nd prize. This student participation and winning  top two positions encourages all the students for further such activities and to explore their talent inside the country and abroad as well. We heartily congratulate the students for their achievement.
