American International University-Bangladesh strengthened its international academic engagement by supporting the International Conference on Educational Technology and Online Learning (ICETOL) 2026 as a co-organizing institution. The sixth edition of ICETOL was held from 17 to 20 August 2026 in Bremen, Germany, in a hybrid format, hosted by Constructor University. The conference was held under the theme, “Education for uncertain futures: learning, resilience, and responsibility.”

The collaboration between AIUB and ICETOL was coordinated by Prof. Dr. Md. Asif Kamal, Department of English and Member, Office of Research, AIUB. The collaboration reflects AIUB’s continued commitment to international academic partnerships, research collaboration, and knowledge exchange in emerging areas of educational technology, online learning, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.

AIUB made a significant academic contribution to ICETOL 2026, with 27 papers presented by faculty members and students of AIUB. In addition, several AIUB representatives served as Session Chairs, contributing to the academic organization and scholarly exchange of the conference.

The ICETOL program demonstrates the breadth of AIUB participation, with presentations addressing artificial intelligence, online and blended learning, digital transformation, academic writing, language learning, engineering education, educational resilience, academic integrity, and responsible use of emerging technologies.
