The Freshman Orientation for Summer 2025–2026 of the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) was held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the AIUB campus. The event warmly welcomed newly admitted students from various departments, along with their parents and guardians. It served as an important platform to introduce the students to the university’s academic policies, rules and regulations, and the wide range of resources available to support their educational journey.

Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam, Treasurer-in-charge and Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS); Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Advisor and Dean (In-Charge), Faculty of Business Administration (FBA); Prof. Dr. Siddique Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Engineering (FE); and Prof. Dr. Dip Nandi, Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) addressed the audience with words of encouragement and guidance for the upcoming semester. They were joined by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan, Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Khandaker Tabin Hasan, Associate Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Dr. Md. Saef Ullah Miah, Director, FST, Mr. Arefeen Ibrahim, Head, Architecture, Dr. Ehasanul Haque, Head, IPE, Prof. Dr. Pradip Kumar Panday, Head, JMC, Dr. Prodhan Mahbub Ibne Seraj, Head, English, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nazir Hossain, Head-In-Charge, BMB, Prof. Prof. Dr. Partha Prasad Chowdhury, In-Charge, BBA, Dr. M. Tanseer Ali, Head, PG, FE who spoke about their respective faculties, highlighting the programs, academic expectations, and opportunities available to students.

On behalf of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), Prof. Dr. Manzur H Khan, Prof. Dr. Saniat Rahman Zishan, Director, FE, Dr. Ziarat H. Khan, Deputy Director, Student Services and Welfare, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, Director, MBA Program, Dr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain, Head, COE, Mr. Stanley Sumon Rodrick, Special Assistant, OSA, FBA, Mr. Mazid-Ul-Haque, Assistant Professor and Special Assistant, OSA, FST conducted informative sessions for the new students. They were supported by the OSA representatives from different faculties - Mr. Hamidul Islam, Ms. Shama Islam, Mr. Sharfuddin Mahmood, Mr. Shahariar Parvez, Mr. Tamim Hossain, Mr. S. M. Abdullah Shafi, and Ms. Sifat Rahman Ahona, along with Mr. Rakib Aziz, and Mr. Md. Ashfak Ul Islam Chowdhury.

Throughout the day, various AIUB Student Clubs set up stalls, sharing information about their activities and engaging with the new students. The orientation concluded with a lively cultural performance by the AIUB Performing Arts Club (APAC) at the Amphitheater, marking a vibrant and memorable beginning to the new academic year.
