On March 8–9, 2024, the Technoxian Bangladesh National Round 2024 was held at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). This world’s largest robotics competition’s Bangladesh national round offered different types of robotics segments: Robo Soccer, Robo Race, Fastest Line Follower Robot, Water Rocket, Innovation Contest and Bots Combat. “Team Aurora” won the Innovation Competition, and “Team ARC Perceptron” was the runner-up in the Bots Combat.

Team Aurora presented a rescue robot named “OVIJANv2”. The OVIJANv2 Rescue Robot is a cutting-edge solution tailored for assisting in rescue operations, especially in scenarios involving fire incidents. Team Aurora is formed in collaboration with students from American International University- Bangladesh (AIUB) and BRAC University. The team members were Snehasish Saha, Rameen Mehran, Tanay Banik, Mahfuja Yesmin, Shahriar Masud, Shahinuzzaman Sanim, M.O.B. Jihad, and Sadia Mobasshira who are students of the Faculty of Engineering, AIUB.

Team ARC Perceptron was the runner-up of the Bots Combat challenge where teams build a robot competent to fight other robots in which the competitors bring their wireless robots ready to battle and are pitted against their competitor’s robots in a one-one match. Team ARC Perceptron members were Md Mominul Islam, Khaliduzzaman Mredul, Jagannat Bhowmik, and Mejbahul Islam Jim who are students of the Faculty of Engineering, AIUB. The team will be participating in the main even in India representing Bangladesh.
