AIUB Teacher Student Delegates' Visit to Japan

As a part of the Yoshy Exchange Program, organized by Mr. Yoshy Iwaki, a contingent of 9 students from the 4 Faculties of Arts & Social Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, and Science & Information Technology of the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB),  led by Dr. Md. Taufiqul Islam Mithil, the Head and Associate Professor of Social Science Department, will be travelling to Japan on an International Cultural Exchange Program, from the 4th – 18th of September 2018.  The exchange participants include Mr. Sapnil Chowdhury, Ms. Antara Sarker, Ms. Jannat Ara Nisha, Mr. Khalid Ibne Hasan, Ms. Somaiya Akanda Anchal, Ms. Fariha Hossain Mithila, Ms. Fabiha Yesmin, Mr. Abrar Shariar Bin Asad, and Mr. S.K. Julker Nyne Jameeu, all of whom are students currently enrolled in the various academic programs at AIUB,

During the visit, the students will participate in several industry tours, constructive seminars on IT, engineering, and social science, as well as cultural excursions, enabling them to further their personal and professional development. 

Prior to their departure, the delegation met with the honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, the honorable Founder Member, Chairman,and Vice President of International Affairs & Public Relations, Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin, and the honorable Founder Member, Treasurer, and Vice President for Human Resources & Administration,  Dr. Hasanul A. Hasan, along with the Director for  the Office of Student Affairs, Mr. Manzur H. Khan. Everyone wished the group the best of luck for their journey and success for their participation.
