AIUB Students Presentation in American Center, Dhaka

Two students from BBA department of AIUB namely Azimun Shahrin Khan and Maksud Chowdhury along with an AIUB alumni Farhan Shahriar participated in a seminar in American Center, Dhaka titled "Spread the Light of Volunteerism" organized by Youth Exchange and Study (Yes) Alumni Bangladesh. These students of AIUB made a presentation on Duke of Edinburgh’s Award program at AIUB. They gave a presentation on the volunteer services provided by AIUB students under the Duke of Edinburgh Award program. The participation of AIUB students in the above program of the American Center was coordinated and facilitated by Mr. A. K. Nazmul, the Director, BBA Program and Award Coordinator and Award Leader of Duke of Edinburgh Award at AIUB.   Representatives from Youth of Bangladesh, Connecting Youth for Change, One Degree initiative; AIUB Duke of Edinburgh Award, ESAB, Sheba Bangladesh, Leo Club of Dhaka Paradise Gold, Dhaka Access Alumni, Dakhasta Basudeb Union Kollyan Samity and YES Alumni shared their stories and formed a network, in hope for collaborative impact in the future. (YES) Alumni Bangladesh, in Celebration of Global Youth Service Day 2013, organized this Sharing and Networking Session for 10 Youth Organizations from diverse communities/educational networks to share their impact stories to inspire each other, and to build a strong network within. This is part of YES's series of projects for GYSD 2013, 10 Causes to Goodness, a tribute to 10 Glorious years of the YES Program. The event was supported by the U.S. Department of State and hosted by the American Center, U.S. Embassy-Dhaka.
