AIUB Student Won 2nd Runner-Up Award in TechNext Connect 2025 at BUBT

Arizit Chaki Artha, an undergraduate student from the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB), has brought great honor to the institution by winning the 2nd Runner-Up Award at TechNext Connect 2025, held on 31 October 2025 at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Dhaka, Bangladesh.

 

The award-winning student earned this distinction for outstanding performance in the Quiz Competition segment of the event, themed “Bridging Young Professionals with Industry Leaders.” The competition brought together students and young professionals from across the country to test their technical knowledge, analytical skills, and understanding of current industry trends.

 

TechNext Connect 2025 was a flagship networking and knowledge-sharing event jointly organized by the IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh Section(https://r10.ieee.org/bd-yp/) and the IEEE Bangladesh Section (https://www.ieeebd.com/), supported by the IEEE Foundation. The program aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by fostering collaboration, innovation, and leadership among young professionals in engineering and technology fields.


The Inauguration Session was graced by distinguished guests including Prof. M. Imamul Hassan Bhuiyan, Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section; Prof. Celia Shahnaz, Advisor, IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh; Prof. Ali Ahmed, Treasurer, BUBT; Engr. Shohel Rana, Chair, IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh; and Md. Sabbir Hasan Sohag, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, BUBT.


The event featured keynote talks, expert panels, and interactive sessions covering topics such as Digitalization Initiatives, Industry–University Collaboration and Bridging the Gender Gap in Industry. The platform provided young engineers and researchers with the opportunity to engage with industry leaders and gain insight into professional development and emerging technologies.

 

The AIUB community proudly congratulates Arizit Chaki Artha and extends heartfelt appreciation to Md. Mortuza Ahmmed, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, for his invaluable guidance and mentorship. His encouragement, insightful feedback, and commitment to nurturing analytical and problem-solving skills were instrumental in achieving this recognition.

 

This accomplishment stands as a testament to AIUB’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and professional development, reflecting the university’s dedication to empowering its students to become future leaders in academia and industry.
