Following a rigorous three-month selection process encompassing screening, intensive training, and comprehensive assessments, Huawei has officially announced the winners of its prestigious Seeds for the Future 2025 program in Bangladesh. The announcement was made at a ceremony held at Huawei South Asia Headquarters in Dhaka on Saturday, 12 July 2025, where eight exceptional participants were recognized for their outstanding performance and presented with crests and certificates of achievement.
Among the distinguished winners is Syed Atif Ryhan, Head of Marketing of the AIUB Business Club (ABC), representing the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB). He will proudly represent Team Bangladesh in the Global Round of Seeds for the Future 2025, scheduled to take place in China from 18 August 2025 – 22 August 2025.
The ceremony commenced with an inaugural address by Mr. Lin Hai, Vice President and Director of the Board, Huawei South Asia. The program was further honored by the presence of Ms. Susan Vize, Head of Office and UNESCO Representative to Bangladesh, who attended as the Chief Guest, reflecting UNESCO’s strategic partnership with this initiative in Bangladesh.
Since its inception, the Seeds for the Future program has created a significant global footprint, engaging students from 141 countries and directly benefiting more than 18,000 participants. The initiative has also established over 500 partnerships with leading universities and academic institutions worldwide, contributing to the advancement of digital talent, innovation, and cross-cultural collaboration.
