The program was inaugurated and graced by Ms. Nadia Anwar, Founder Member and Chairman, Board of Trustees, AIUB, along with Prof. Dr. Manzur H. Khan, Proctor, AIUB. Their encouraging presence and words of inspiration set a meaningful tone for the day. Among others, Mr. Stanley Rodrick, Sr. Asst. Prof., Department of Marketing, and Special Assistant, OSA; Mr. Rakib Aziz, Officer, OSA; Mr. Md. Sarowar Hossain, Graphic Designer, Office of Strategic Communication, AIUB; and representatives from Nissin BD, & Pentel BD were also present during the event.

“Rongin Shomoy” has been launched as a new event initiative by the AIUB Shomoy Club, facilitated by the club's mentors—Mr. Hamidul Islam [Hamid], Sr. Asst Prof., Department of Marketing, and Special Assistant, OSA; and Mr. Md. Monir Hossain, Lecturer, Department of Social Science, AIUB.

A total of 65 children from Kathpencil Pathshala participated in the event. The day was filled with cultural performances, painting sessions, fun activities, and distribution of colorful custom-made dresses, school bags, & stationery materials. Each smile reflected the joy of receiving not just gifts but also love, care, and affection.

Special appreciation goes to Nissin BD and Pentel BD, whose generous contributions of food, art supplies, stationery, and goodies made the day even more vibrant and memorable for the children.

Through this initiative, AIUB Social Welfare Club–Shomoy reaffirmed its commitment to creating meaningful social impact, while inspiring the AIUB community to continue working toward building a brighter future for the underprivileged children who need it the most.
