An MoU was signed between American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) and Chitkara University Chandigarh Punjab on 25 March 2026 at the Chancellor’s Secretariat of Chitkara University Chandigarh-Patiala National Highway (NH-64), Jansla, Rajpura, Punjab. Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor of AIUB signed the MoU on behalf of AIUB during his visit to the campus of Chitkara University during 24th and 25th March 2026 and distinguished educationist, entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara signed the MoU on behalf of Chitkara University. During the 2-day visit to Chitkara University (QS world University Ranked), Prof Saiful Islam had meetings and cordial discussions with the Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara Dr. Madhu Chitkara, with the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research Programs): Prof. Dr. Amit Mittal, Head of International Office: Dr. Charu Khosla, PhD students, Research Groups, the officials of the International Office and other Officials. In these meetings and discussions, possible ways of doing joint research work, joint PhD program, Faculty Exchange, Student Exchange, organizing International Conferences and other possible ways of collaboration were discussed.
