AIUB signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ataturk University, Turkey

ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAM BETWEEN AIUB AND ATATURK UNIVERSITY, TURKEY

American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ataturk University, Turkey at the Board Room of AIUB on Monday, February 01, 2010. The MOU will provide scope not only for establishing a framework of joint collaboration and research but also for facilitating exchange of faculty and students. This will establish acceptance for credit transfers as well. Professor Dr. N. Mevlut ARAS of Ataturk University and Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain Pro-Vice Chancellor AIUB signed the MOU on behalf of their respective Universities. Dr. Sinan Hinislioglu of Ataturk University, Mr. Bayram Saatci, Principal of International Turkish Hope School, Mr. Kh. Sabbir Kabir, Director, Accounts, Mr. Lutfar Rahman, Director, PR and Mr. Manzur H. Khan, Director, OSA were also present at the signing ceremony. It is envisaged that such an exchange program will be beneficial for both the institutions and will open up new avenues for the students of both the Universities. Prior to the signing of MOU, delegates from Ataturk University met the Founder & Vice President of HR, Admin and Treasury Mr. Hasanul A. Hasan and Founder & Vice President of International Affairs & Public Relations, Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin. They also visited the different Campuses of AIUB and had interaction with the students inside the Engineering and Computer Laboratories. During their campus visit they had a short meeting with Prof. Dr. Siddique Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Engineering.
