The team “AIUB Robotic Crew (ARC)” finally advances on journey to USA for the world's premier robotics competition. A team of eight students and one faculty member from American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) have started their journey on the morning of 29th May 2016 to Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS), Utah, USA. The team with their Rover “ARC-71” is taking part in the semifinal of 2016 University Rover Challenge (URC) which will be held on June 2 - 4, 2016. One of only 30 qualified teams, this team from AIUB hopes to proudly represent their country and their university at this 10th edition of the competition for university students. The traveling team members of ARC are: Mr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman (Team leader), Mr. Md. Abir Hossen, Mr. Zishan Ahmed Onik, Mr. Sashanka Kumar Pramanik, Mr. Md Josim Uddin, Mr. Shabab Iqbal, Mr. Md. Mezanur Rahman, Mr. Nihar Sarker, and Assistant Professor Mr. Ebad Zahir (Advisor).
