AIUB Representative in the IVLP 2010 on Higher Education

Mr. Manzur H Khan, Director, Office of Student Affairs of AIUB has recently participated in the 3- week long International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in the United States of America. The IVLP program is organized and sponsored by the US Department of States. The theme of the program was ‘Contemporary Challenges in Higher Education’. Along with Mr. Manzur H Khan there were 12 other participants from 11 countries around the world. The program started at the Institute of International Education (IIE), Washington DC on October 2, 2010. Various activities of the program were distributed in 4 different states- Washington DC, Philadelphia, Colorado and Georgia. During this program Mr. Khan visited Vice Chancellors and Directors of numerous departments of Princeton University, Drexel University, Temple University, Regis University, University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado State University,  Spelman College, Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, US Dept of Education (Federal), Council for Higher Education Accreditation, Middle States Commission on Higher Education (Accreditation),  Educational Testing Services (ETS), Georgia Research Alliance, Georgia Student Finance Commission and American Council on Education. Mr. Khan also visited Stanford University and UC Berkeley in California.
