Prof. Dr. Dip Nandi, Associate Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology delivered a keynote speech in the 4th International Research and Innovation Summit (FCPC IRIS 2024) held on Friday, April 19, 2024, at FCPC Conference Hall, City of San Jose Del Monte Bulacan, Manila, Philippines. The title of his talk was “Metaverse in Education: Opportunities and Challenges”, in which Prof. Nandi discussed about the future outlook of education systems and the changing landscape of the use of  AI-based technology in enhancing educational experience.

Prior to this, Prof. Nandi visited Nepal to attend the 2^nd E-Palli International Conference held on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the Conference Hall, Hotel Ambassador, Kathmandu, in which he acted as the Co-Convener of the Organizing Committee. After the conference, the organizing committee met with the honorable Vice President of Nepal, His Excellency Mr. Ram Shahaya Yadov. Discussions related to education and research collaboration including student and staff exchange programs took place during the visit.
