American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) organized its annual AIUB Job Fair 2014 on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the AIUB Campus -1 & 5, Banani, Dhaka. The Vice Chancellor of AIUB Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna inaugurated the Fair at 10:00 AM which continued up-to 4:00PM. A total of 83 renowned National and Multinational Companies including Banks, IT Solutions organizations, Mobile Operators, Networking Solution Providers, Pharmaceuticals, Leasing & Finance Companies, Call Centers, Airlines, Automobile Companies, Real-Estate Companies, JOB Portals, Agro-Based Companies, Accessories and Equipment Companies and some FMCGs also participated. Over a dozen companies were invited to AIUB Job Fair 2014 by the University’s alumni thereby strengthening their links further with their alma mater. The main purpose of this annual event is to create a platform for the University’s Alumni and future graduates to facilitate their smooth entry into the corporate world. This Flagship event has been hosted by the Office of Placement and Alumni under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Hasanul A. Hasan, Founder & Vice President (HRD), Treasurer, Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin, Chairman, AIUB Board of Trustees & Vice President (Public Relations Int’l Affairs) and Ms. Nadia Anwar, Founder & Vice President (Student Affairs). Among others the Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean (Business Administration) Prof. Dr Charles C. Villanueva, Registrar Prof. M. A. Quaiyum, Director (Finance) Khandeker Sabbir Mohammad Kabir, Director (Placement and Alumni) Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director (Student Affairs) Manzur H. Khan, Director (PR, Legal & Int’l Affairs) Mr. Md. Lutfar Rahman, Departmental Heads, Teachers, and other senior officials  attended the Fair. Directors and representatives of the participating Companies were also present. The Vice Chancellor expressed her thanks and gratitude to the participating companies.
