AIUB Inter Department Twenty20 Cricket Tournament 2009

American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has organized an Inter Department Twenty20 Cricket Tournament to be held from February 22, 2009 to March 22, 2009 in the Gulshan Youth Club Ground. In total 12 teams from different departments (both undergraduate and graduate) including two Teacher/Officer teams are participating in the tournament. The Honorable Vice Chancellor of AIUB Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna inaugurated the tournament in the Gulshan Youth Club Ground at 9.30 a.m. on February 22, 2009. In the opening match Computer Science (CS Blues) team played against Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE Green) team This Inter Department Twenty20 Cricket Tournament 2009 was attended by a lot of  teachers,  officers and students of the University besides Vice President (Academic Affairs) Mr. Tafazzal Hossain, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Anwar Hossain, Coordinator, Office of Sports, Abdul K. Nazmul, and other high officials of AIUB.    In the opening match CS Blues team defeated EEE Green team by 7 Wickets. Score: EEE Green - 95/10 (19.2 Overs) and CS Blues 96/3 (11.1 Overs).
