< table> The final match of the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) was held on 23rd February 2008 in Gulshan youth Club Ground. In the final match BBA Blues defeated EEE Blues by 47 runs. After winning the toss BBA Blues decided to bat first and scored 192 all out in 33.3 over. In reply EEE Blues scored 145 all out in 33 over. Kamrul Islam (Emon) of the winning team scored 55 runs and was adjudged as the man of the match. The Honorable Vice Chancellor of AIUB Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna was present in the final match as the chief guest and distributed the prizes among the players after the match. The final match of the Inter Department Cricket Tournament 2008 was attended by all the teachers, officers and students of the University besides Founder and Vice President (Student Affairs) Ms. Nadia Anwar, the Vice President (Academic) Prof Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, Director (MBA Program), Mr. Abdul K. Nazmul (Coordinator, Office of Sports ) and others high officials of AIUB.
