AIUB Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) awarded at the 12th Best Brand Awards by the Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF). Over the years, brand recognition, loyalty, and value have gained momentum in the competitive strides of organizations in the global landscape. In Bangladesh, the significance of a brand has started to be acknowledged more so in recent times, as organizations reinforce their brands in the market. And like every year, the ‘most loved brands of Bangladesh’ were honored at the Bangladesh Brand Forum’s (BBF) 12th Brand Fest in partnership with Nielsen Bangladesh and in association with The Daily Star.

With the aim of inspiring brands, BBF’s Best Brand Awards began its journey with Nielsen Bangladesh in 2008, based on the global model of Winning BrandsTM, with conducts a direct consumer survey of over 7500 consumers across the country, including self-administered reviews. The Best Brand Awards acknowledges the efforts, initiatives, and achievements of over 100 brands spanning through over 35 categories, along with recognition for the top brands of Bangladesh.

This year, the AIUB Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) was acclaimed as the top center for continuing education, acknowledged for being the only institution in the region to have a constructive collaboration with the global tech-giant, Microsoft, under their Dynamics Academic Alliance & SAP University Alliance. In Bangladesh, AIUB ICE has the longest standing partnership with Microsoft 365, collaborating on various programs together since 2008. AIUB ICE is also the only Fortinet Network Security Academy and AWS Academy in Bangladesh, graduating over 15,000 students through its numerous academic certification programs.

Due to the restrictions posed by the pandemic, the main event was held virtually on the 30th of December 2020, where the announcement of the winners was made, followed by the handover of the awards afterwards. The Founder and Managing Director of BBF, Mr. Shariful Islam presented the prestigious award to the Founder Member of AIUB, Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin, with the Director of AIUB ICE, Mr. Md. Manirul Islam, the Director of Student Affairs at AIUB, Mr. Manzur H. Khan, and the Chief Operating Officer of BBF, Mr. Sajid Mahbub being present on the ceremonious occasion, commemorating the importance of further education and building brands for a better future that continues to put Bangladesh on the map in the competitive world.
