AIUB inks MoU with BCC and Ernst & Young LLP

American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) inked a tri-patriate Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and Ernst & Young LLP (EY) on August 11, 2015 at AIUB. The need for training and skill development in the field of Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) has been recognized by the Government of Bangladesh and all the other stakeholders in the country. The purpose of this association is to enable Foundation Skills and Top up IT Training Projects to implement at AIUB for their students leveraging their facilities while for AIUB the value preposition is to enable its students to get a quality employability enhancing training, with certification/ accreditation to a government/ industry body or university and enhance their employment opportunities through the job-connect component of the project. It will help AIUB become a project partner for this program and enhance faculty development opportunities. AIUB was represented by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, while BCC and EY was represented by Mr. Azad, Joint Secretary, Ministry of ICT, Government of Bangladesh and Kamlesh Vyas, Project Director, EY respectively.
