The department of Computer Science and Engineering of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) in cooperation with MassiveStar,Studio Limited, held a research awareness seminar for students and faculties of  the AIUB, titled as Brain Engineering: Opportunities & Feasibilities on June 25,2018. It was arranged to foster greater interest in brain engineering research, familiarize the participants with brain work, and provide a platform to exchange views on the technological development of brain engineering.

The three-hour session (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM) was conducted by Engr. SM Mahabub Alam, Managing Director and CEO of MassiveStar Studio Ltd., Dr. Sirajee Shafiqul Islam, Associate Professor, National Institute of Neuroscience, and Dr. Tabin Hasan, Associate Professor and Head of Graduate Program, American International University of Bangladesh. The session was attended by students and faculties from various departments of AIUB.

The seminar focused on highlighting the role of brain and technology to enable high impact research and its scope. In addition, it helped to identify the product and technology, clarify fund in helping to plan and implement the research outcomes. The event was an opportunity for the forum to discuss concerns and suggestions by the attendees. Participants welcomed the opportunity to exchange views research strategy with MassiveStar staff and Faculties of Science & Information Technology (FSIT) from the AIUB.
