AIUB Holds Its First Syndicate Meeting

AIUB HOLDS ITS FIRST SYNDICATE MEETING

First  meeting of the syndicate of AIUB constituted in accordance with Article 17 of  the New Private University Act (2010)   was held on 21st October at 3.00 pm in the Board room of  Admin building of AIUB. The meeting was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the university Dr. Carmen.Z.Lamagna and  was attended by other members including the external member nominated by UGC ; Professor Bazlul Haque Khandker a professor of the Faculty of Business Studies University of Dhaka and President of DUTA . It was a historical occasion for the university as the event  will go down as a landmark in its onward march towards progress and excellence. The Vice chancellor welcomed the members of the newly constituted syndicate and sought their cooperation in running the university administration smoothly . Earlier the Chairman of the Trustee Board Dr.Anwarul Abedin welcomed the syndicate members and thanked them for their  support. The syndicate unanimously approved different committees of the university for conducting its regular operation. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks from the chair.
