AIUB Games 2025 officially commenced on Thursday, December 4, 2025, with a vibrant inauguration ceremony held at the American International University-Bangladesh campus. The event was inaugurated by Ms. Nadia Anwar, Chairman and Founder Member of the Board of Trustees, AIUB, who delivered an inspiring opening address.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Manzur H Khan, Proctor, AIUB; Major (Retd.) Faiz-Ul-Bari Rajon, Deputy Director, Administration; Mr. Mahmud Hassan, Deputy Director, Procurement and Purchase and Md. Joynal Abedin, Coordinator, Office of Sports, AIUB. Students, faculty members, and administrative officers were also present, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and unity.

This year’s AIUB Games features 11 competitive segments (Indoor and Outdoor) with participation from nearly 3,000 students across different departments. The event reflects the university’s vibrant culture and the enthusiasm of its students, while highlighting AIUB’s commitment to fostering a dynamic and inclusive campus environment.

Organized by the Office of Sports with strong support from the Office of Student Affairs, AIUB Games 2025 brings together students, faculty, and officials in a shared spirit of collaboration and excellence. It stands as a testament to the university’s dedication to growth, achievement, and holistic development both academically and beyond the classroom.
