AIUB Film Club (AFC) 2nd YEAR CELEBRATION

On 24th July, 2011, AIUB FILM CLUB (AFC) celebrated their 2nd year celebration. To make this occasion memorable, the members of AIUB FILM CLUB organized different colorful programs. The celebration started with a rally where all the AFC members wore club’s T-Shirts and ribbons reflecting their belongingness to the AFC family. The Rally was followed by a program where power point presentations, dances, dramas, fashion shows, songs performed by “PROTICHCHAYA” and “FUED ’86” band. Some short films by AFC Production were presented for entertainment and encouraging everyone to vote for Sunderbans. The most attractive part of the program was the farewell ceremony. The senior members who gave their highest effort for the club were leaving. So the current members felt responsible to show tribute to their extraordinary contribution and they did it by distributing crests and certificates among them. The crests and certificates handed over by the honorable chief guest Dr. Taffazzal Hossain, Vice president, Academics and Special Guest Mr. Manzur H. Khan, Director of student Affairs (OSA). The program was also enlightened by the kind presence of Bangladeshi Rock Legend Mr. Kamal from the Band WARFAZE. It was the time for new members to take charge of the operating committee from the departed seniors. The new president, vice president, and the general secretary were introduced to everyone. Around 6 pm the program came to an end.
