The department of Operations and Supply Chain Management, Faculty of Business Administration organized a seminar on “Supply Chain Managemetn”, on March 19^th, 2017, between 6:30PM to 9:30PM, in campus 1 (Auditorium) .  It is part of a series of initiatives listed for “Skill Development Program” under the area of “Faculty Development” and “ Student Enrichment” to be conducted during the Spring 2016-17 Semester, by OSCM Department, FBA, AIUB. It is a extension to the constant  endeavors by AIUB-IQAC and OSCM Department, FBA, AIUB to develop the capacity of faculty members and major student by augmenting to their knowledge base, application tools and techniques, reseach capabilitis in terms of SCM. The seminar also aimed to promote the department of “Operations and Supply Chain Management”.

The seminar delivered understanding on the topics of Supply Chain Management Overview,Supply Chain Strategy & Scope , Drivers of Supply Chian Performance and Application of Supply Chain Management as per ISCEA certification and best practices.  The seminar also created a clear picture of the career prospective in Supply Chain Management.

A total of  fifteen AIUB faculties members and one hundred OSCM major and prospective major students, both BBA and MBA, and 10 AIUB ISCEA graduatesfrom were participants of this seminar.

Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Professor and Director of MBA Program opened the session.  Mr. Md. Shakhawat Hossain, CSCM, MCIPS, COO,Color City Limited at DBL Group  was the very interactive instructor for this seminar.  The program was concluded by Mr. Ashfaque A. Mohib, Associate Professor, Head of Department, OSCM, with a vote of thank.
