The department of Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) organized a guest lecturer session on “Effective Warehouse and Logistics Management”, on August 21^st, 2017 in a classroom of FBA Building. It was conducted during a class lecture of a MBA OSCM major course, namely “Global Logistics Management”.  This lecture session is one of many initiatives taken by OSCM Department for “Academic Enrichment of Major Course Curriculum” during the Summer 2016-17 Semester. The topics and examples covered during the session had were relevant with the major course curriculum, topics and industry best practices, as presented by a well reputed industry expert and certification trainer.

Mr. Khan Md Masudul Alam, CSCM, Senior Manager, SCM, Banglalink was the guest lecturer in this session.  He has more than 17 years of extensive industry experience in area of warehouse and logistics management. He worked for three leading Telecom Operators in Bangladesh, with extensive success rate. He is also a reputed trainer for supply chain management professional certification programs.

AIUB MBA OSCM major students and faculty members, were present during this session. It was a very interactive session between the students, faculty members and resource person, as they could directly relate to the topics covered in major class and industry best practices.

The session was concluded with exchange certificate, gifts and souvenirs, and a vote of thanks, by Mr. Ashfaque A. Mohib, Associate Professor,  Head of Department, OSCM, FBA, AIUB.
