The department of Operations and Supply Chain Management, Faculty of Business Administration and AIUB-IQAC organized a workshop on “Project Management Body of Knowledge”, on March 16^th, 2017, between 10:30AM to 3:30PM, in FBA Building (Room # 541).  It is part of a series of initiatives listed for Faculty Skill Development Program to be conducted during the Spring 2016-17 Semester, by OSCM Department, FBA, AIUB. It is a extension to the constant  endeavors by AIUB-IQAC to develop the capacity of faculty members by augmenting to their knowledge base, application tools and techniques, interpersonal skills and reseach capabilitis.

The workshop delivered understanding on the topics of Project Management 5 Process Groups, 10 Knowlwdge Areas, and 47 Processes as per PMI PMBOK® Guide best practices and certification program.  There are case studies, sample templetes, and softwere applications were also presented.  This workshop is a predecessor to the next workshop on Application of Project Management Software.

A total of  thirty (30) AIUB faculties members, from Faculty of Business Administration , Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Engineering were participants of this workshop.  AIUB-IQAC Officers were also present as participants.

Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Professor and Director of MBA Program opened the session.  Mr. Ashfaque A. Mohib, Associate Professor,  Head of Department, Dr. Saad Hasan, Assistant Professor, and Ms. Nazmum Nahar, Assistant Professor, OSCM Department were the instructors for this workshop.  The program was concluded by Professor Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Pro Vice Chancellor & Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, Director, IQAC, AIUB.
