The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship in The Rising Generation 2025 Football Tournament, finishing as the proud runner-up. In a thrilling and hard-fought final against Fareast International University, AIUB delivered an impressive performance, narrowly falling short in a tense penalty shootout that ended 2-1.

AIUB’s path to the final highlighted their dominance and consistency throughout the tournament. The semifinal match against Daffodil International University (DIU) proved particularly challenging. However, AIUB showcased remarkable resilience and tactical prowess, securing a 3-2 victory in another dramatic penalty shootout.

This achievement reflects the university’s dedication to excellence in both academics and athletics, reinforcing AIUB’s reputation for fostering well-rounded student development.

After the tournament, the AIUB football team presented the runner-up trophy to Ms. Nadia Anwar, Chairman and Founder Member of the Board of Trustees, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Manzur H. Khan, Proctor, AIUB. Ms. Nadia Anwar congratulated the team for their dedication, teamwork, and resilience, expressing pride in their achievement. She reaffirmed AIUB’s commitment to holistic development and excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities.
