The AIUB eSports Club, with the support of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), successfully organized "Pixels to Pitch, Football Mania," a futsal tournament held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB). Sponsored by Corsair and Star Tech Ltd., the event aimed to encourage students to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and community engagement.

The tournament featured four teams representing the AIUB eSports Club, who competed with enthusiasm and determination throughout the day. Despite challenging weather conditions, participants demonstrated remarkable commitment and team spirit, making the event both competitive and enjoyable. Corsair and Star Tech Ltd. also supported the tournament by providing team jerseys, refreshments, and organizing interactive promotional activities in the D Building lobby, where students had the opportunity to participate in football-themed challenges and win gift vouchers.

Following a series of exciting matches, ARG Away emerged as the tournament champions. Team members Nafe Al Fuad, Tanmoy Das, Fardin Huq, Mahir Faisal Samin, Md. Faisal Bin Haque, and Hasibul Islam Talukder were recognized for their exceptional teamwork and outstanding performance.

The prize-giving ceremony was held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Annex 7 Multipurpose Hall. Mr. Sharfuddin Mahmood, Assistant Professor, Special Assistant to the Office of Student Affairs, and Mentor of the AIUB eSports Club, together with Dr. S. A. M. Manzur H. Khan, Professor and Proctor, presented the championship trophy to the winning team. In their remarks, they congratulated all participants and emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between digital gaming and physical well-being.

The event reflected AIUB's commitment to promoting holistic student development by integrating extracurricular activities with opportunities for personal growth.
