The team “Neuro Assist” led by Mishiba Islam alongside team members Mridul Hasan Sagor, Shahriyar Hossain, and Md. Mouid Montasir Saad, undergraduate students from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB), was recognized as one of the 1st runners-up of Impact Launch Night 2026. The project was successfully developed as part of the students’ final-year Capstone Project under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Nasir Uddin (Professor & Head [Graduate Program], Department of EEE, AIUB).

To encourage the transformation of capstone projects into startups and ensure their continuous development beyond course completion, four recent capstone projects were continuously mentored & guided by the Capstone Committee members, Prof. Dr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan (Professor & Director, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) and Mr. Abir Ahmed (Assistant Professor & Special Assistant, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB), in preparation for participation in this competition. Among these teams, Team Neuro Assist successfully secured a position in the competition.

As part of this achievement, Team Neuro Assist has qualified to participate in the upcoming grant programs under SustainLaunch Labs. This accomplishment further highlights AIUB’s commitment to fostering innovation, interdisciplinary research, leadership, and entrepreneurial excellence among its students while encouraging the development of technologies with meaningful social impact.
