Christopher Andrew Guda, a student from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB), received the Best Presenter Award at the IEEE 2nd International Conference on Quantum Photonics, Artificial Intelligence, and Networking (QPAIN 2026) for his exceptional presentation of the research paper titled “Semi-Autonomous Robot for Post Disaster Human Locator and Emergency Response.” The presented research based on their final-year capstone project was a highly collaborative effort by the AIUB student team consisting of Jamiul Hasan, Christopher Andrew Guda, Md. Sahebur Rahman, and Sanour Islam. It was conducted under the guidance & supervision of Dr. Muhibul Haque Bhuyan (Professor, Dept. of EEE, AIUB) and Dr. Md. Kabiruzzaman (Associate Professor, Dept. of EEE, AIUB).
