On Wednesday, 30th July 2025, the AIUB Economics Club proudly organized the Alumni Career Talk at the Media Studio, creating a platform to connect former and current members of the Department of Economics in a truly inspiring session. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Faria Sultana, Head of the Department of Economics, and Dr. Farhana Rafiq, Club Mentor. Both shared valuable thoughts on the importance of alumni engagement and the power of building a strong, connected academic community. Their encouraging words emphasized how continued collaboration between alumni and current students can foster growth, motivation, and mutual success.

The highlight of the event was the participation of two accomplished alumni—Mr. Md. Belal Hossain, Assistant Manager at Abroad Inquiry, and Ms. Jannatul Ferdous Happy, founder of Nuqi Shop Bd. They reflected on their academic journeys at AIUB, shared personal experiences from their careers, and spoke about the crucial role the Department and Economics Club played in shaping their professional lives. Their insights offered current students a deeper understanding of real-world challenges and career paths, while reminding everyone that success begins with the right foundation—and that foundation often starts here at AIUB.

The session concluded with a lively question and answer session and heartfelt expressions of gratitude, reinforcing the spirit of community and continuity that defines the AIUB Economics Club.
