A delegation from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Dhaka on 30 April 2026 to discuss potential avenues for strengthening academic and research collaboration between Bangladesh and Kosovo with His Excellency Mr. Lulzim Pllana, Ambassador of Kosovo to Bangladesh. The AIUB delegation was led by Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor of AIUB. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor of AIUB, and Saadi Islam, Public Relations Officer of AIUB. During the meeting, both sides held constructive discussions on matters of mutual interest, particularly focusing on the possibility of establishing joint academic and research programs between AIUB and various universities in Kosovo. The discussions also included opportunities for exchange programs for faculty members, students, and researchers between AIUB and higher education institutions in Kosovo. AIUB extended an invitation to the Ambassador of Kosovo to visit the university and expressed its keen interest in sharing its academic and research initiatives. The meeting marks a positive step towards expanding international academic partnerships and reinforcing AIUB’s commitment to global engagement in higher education.
