American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) is immensely proud to congratulate Md. Shadman Sakib, a brilliant student from the Department of Computer Science (CS), for representing the university on an international platform. Mr. Sakib was honored to attend and participate as a selected Fellow at the prestigious Young Asian Summit, held in Singapore from June 23–25, 2026.

The summit served as a crucial gathering point, uniting young leaders, innovators, and students from across Asia. The event focused on facilitating global exchange of ideas, fostering cross-border collaboration on innovative solutions, and addressing pressing global challenges through intensive workshops and networking sessions. Mr. Sakib's selection was highly distinguished; out of 100 esteemed Fellows nominated for the visit, only 10 were ultimately chosen to attend, making his representation not only an honor but a notable achievement as he stood out as the sole representative from Bangladesh among the selected cohort.

During the Summit, Mr. Sakib presented his pioneering project titled “Agro Grid Rover System”. This advanced concept represents a breakthrough in smart agriculture, designed to revolutionize farming practices through technology integration. The system is built around simulating an autonomous rover capable of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), environmental monitoring sensors, and comprehensive data collection. It culminates in a centralized agricultural intelligence dashboard accessible via the web, providing farmers with real-time, actionable insights necessary for precision farming decision-making. While the project currently stands at a strong conceptual stage, the next planned phase involves developing a physical prototype to bring this vision to life.
