AIUB CS Student visits the Headquarter of Microsoft, Seattle, Washington, United State of America

Mr. Rezwanur Rahman, a student of the Department of Computer Science was invited at the head office of Microsoft in Seattle as a guest of “We Day”. Microsoft organizes this day every year for changing the world for the betterment of the youth. The co-organizer of this event is the “Free The Child” a worldwide charity and youth movement, working with the aim to empower youths across the globe, educating them, lifting them and freeing them from exploitation. Thousands of students participate in this event every year.

Rezwan was working as a Microsoft Youthspark Advocate and was responsible for assisting Microsoft both online (through social medias like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc) and offline. In recognition of his great work, Microsoft invited him as a guest participant. Only 9 Advocates from all over the world were invited as a guest of the event. Beside Bangladesh, advocates from India, Nigeria, Colombia, Peru, Canada and Indonesia joined the event.

The event was held at 23rd of April, 2015 and over 15000 students took part in the event.
