The opening ceremony of the AIUB CS Fest 2024, presented by the Office of Student Affairs and organized by AIUB Computer Club with the support of Department of Computer Science, was held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 26th, 2024, at the American International University-Bangladesh campus. The silver sponsor of the event is Brain Station 23, and another sponsor is Therap Bd. This is a flagship event and one of the largest festivals of AIUB, featuring twelve diverse segments with participation from AIUB students as well as numerous schools and colleges across the nation.

The event commenced with a ribbon and cake-cutting ceremony led by the honorable guests, Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin (Founder Member and Chairman, Board of Trustees, AIUB), and Mrs. Nadia Anwar (Founder Member and Vice Chairman, Board of Trustees). Dr. Bikarna Kumar Ghosh (CEO, Research & Innovation Center, FBCCI, Former Secretary, ICT Division, Former MD, High-Tech Park) graced the inaugural ceremony as the special guest. Additionally, other notable attendees included Md. Abdur Rahman, (Pro-Vice Chancellor, AIUB), Dr. Mohammad Zahidul Islam Khan (Registrar, Officer, Administration, AIUB), Manzur H Khan, PhD (Proctor & Director, Office of Student Affairs, OSA), Mr. Mashiour Rahman (Associate Professor and Dean-in-charge, FST, AIUB), Prof. Dr. Dip Nandi (Associate Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, FST), Mr. Abhijit Bhowmik (Associate Professor and Special Assistant, OSA) and honorable faculty members, officials, participants from AIUB and various educational institutions and event volunteers. The ceremony continued with a photo session and a tour of the project exhibition areas, where guests offered their encouragement and best wishes to the participants.

The AIUB CS Fest 2024 has successfully brought together participants from over one hundred educational institutions throughout Bangladesh, along with their respective guardians, fostering a spirit of innovation and collaboration.
