AIUB Computer Science Department Community Outreach Program – ‘Keep Saint Martin Green & Clean: Save the Biodiversity ’

As part of Community Outreach Program, a group of teachers from Department of Computer Science, AIUB visited the world’s famous coral island Saint Martin on February 18, 2011. The aim of this visit was to create the awareness to the visitors of a clean & green Saint Martin to save the biodiversity. The team consists of four teachers from Computer Science Department: Mr. Mohammad Saiedur Rahaman, Mr.  Mohammad Saidur Rahman, Mr.  Debajyoti Karmaker & Mr. Abhijit Bhowmik. The team started their journey on February 15, 2011 from campus-4, AIUB. Mr Mashiour Rahman, Head, Department of Computer Science inaugurated the campaign and wished best luck to the travelers. During the campaign, along with local people, the teachers performed various cleanliness activities around the island. Some students who were in their tour to Saint Martin also joined them.
