AIUB Business Quiz Competition 2009

On the occasion of the 14 years celebration of AIUB, a Business Quiz Competition was organized by AIUB Business Club (ABC) on 9th and 11th November 2009. The competition was inaugurated by Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, honorable Vice Chancellor of AIUB on 9th November 2009. Among others Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Dean of Faculty of Business Administration, Mr. AHM Ehsanul Huda, Director of MBA program and Faculty Advisor of AIUB Business Club (ABC), Mr. Abdul Kader Nazmul, Head of HRM & Mgmt Dept. and Dr. ABM Rahmatullah, AQAC Member, were present as the special guests at the opening session. After the first round of the competition, only five participants with highest marks were selected for the final round. The final round of the competition was held on 11th November 2009 in AIUB Auditorium. The final round comprised of 3 segments: Individual Round, Buzzer Round, and Rapid Fire Round. Honorable judges of final round were Dr. AKM Matiur Rahman, Director of BBA program, Mr. Abdul Kader Nazmul, Head of HRM & Mgmt Dept., Mr. Nisar Ahmed, Coordinator of Finance and Accounting Dept., and Mr. AHM Ehsanul Huda, Director of MBA program, AIUB and Faculty Advisor of AIUB Business Club (ABC). After an intense battle the Champion of the AIUB Business Quiz Competition 2009 was Isha Shahmina Mannan and the Runner-up was Karim Mohammad Rashedul.
