AIUB Business Club [ABC]: Celebrating Members Day & Graduation Party
On the 9th Novemeber’ 13, the AIUB Business Club [ABC], rejoiced the commemoration of their “Members’ Day & Graduation Party”, signifying yet another milestone in their strive for ‘putting leadership into practice’. Mr. A.K Nazmul, the Director of the BBA Program, along with other members of the faculty honored the occasion with their presence, joining in to celebrate with the members of ABC.
The event paid tribute to the ABC alumni members who contribution greatly in shaping the identity of ABC to what it is today. Their hard work and dedication that set an example for the members of the succeeding terms was highly appreciated not only by ABC but AIUB as well. From cultural programs, musical performances, and games, the day had it all. Former ABC members shared their own experiences, inspiring the existing member base to pursue and persevere in their individual passions.
Certificates for the ABC graduates were handed out by Mr. Nazmul, the BBA Program Director, on behalf of ABC. Certificates for the Intra ABC Slide Making & Presentation Competition were also awarded for the runner-ups, Ramim Ahmed and Shabana Parvez Mazumder, and champion, Shamma Rahman. Existing members of ABC were also given recognition for their outstanding performance and contribution towards the club. ‘The Freshers of the Year 2013’ award was given to Md. Jahidul Islam and Injamamul Haque Ayon, while Md. Ragib Hasan and Iqbal Hossain were selected as ‘The Officers of the Year 2013’, and the last but not the least, ‘The Leader of the Year 2013’ title went to Gazi Anica Aslam and Fatema Naoshin.Members of the other student clubs of AIUB were also present at the event, the Presidents of which were all honored for their unending support and cooperation towards ABC over the years with Certificates of Appreciation, handed out by Gazi Anica Aslam, the current CEO of ABC. The day ended on a sweet note with the traditional cake-cutting, leaving everyone with a memorable ending of one journey and an aspiring beginning to the next.
