A seven-day long, Art Exhibition titled “1st Inter University Art Exhibition, Unleashing Imagination” has been organized by AIUB Arts Club (AAC) of the American International University – Bangladesh at the DHAKA ART CENTER", House No. 60, Road No. 7/A, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Nadia Anwar Founder & Vice President (Student Affairs) of American International University – Bangladesh on Friday, 13th July, 2012. A total number of 84 Artworks on different categories like oil paintings, acrylic, watercolor, glass painting, pencil-sketch, pastel, charcoal, 2D graphics works on interesting topics based on nature, traditions and cultures of Bangladesh are being exhibited by 35 participating students from American International University- Bangladesh, BRAC University, North South University, Independent University, University of Liberal Arts, United International University, Shanto Marium University and Asia Pacific University (eight Universities). The exhibition will remain open from 3.00 PM to 8:00 PM till the 19th of July, 2012.
A large number of Artists, visitors, teachers, students, guardians and high officials from participating universities including IUB’s Faculty member Asst. Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmed, AIUB’S Director (Public Relations) Md. Lutfar Rahman, Director (Student Affairs) Mr. Manzur H. Khan, Asst. Prof. Md. Niaz Majumdar, Deputy Director (Student Affairs) Mr. Ziarat H. Khan of the University were also present and enjoyed the event with keen interest.
