The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) is selected as the “Best Private University of the year” by the Weekly Arthakantha. In this connection a special event i.e Arthakantha Business Award - 2013 was arranged on 31st May 2013 at Ruposhi Bangla Hotel in the city where Honorable Minister for Industries, Mr. Dilip Barua was the Chief Guest  and President of FBCCI President Mr. Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed was also present as Special Guest.

The award was given to AIUB for special contribution to the Education Sector particularly in the field of Information Technology. On behalf of Dr. Carmen Zita Lamagna, Vice Chancellor of AIUB, the award was received by Mr. Md. Lutfar Rahman (Public Relations & Int’l Affairs).
