The American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) held its 7 th Convocation Ceremony on 25 February 2007 in the Bangladesh-China Friendship Convention Center . A total of 753 graduates were conferred the degrees in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and engineering, Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, bachelor of Business Administration and Masters in Business Administration. The Ceremony was attended by some luminaries of the country such as His Excellency, the Honorable President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the Chancellor of AIUB, Professor Dr. Iajuddin Ahmed who delivered a challenging message to the graduates, the former Chief Justice and former Head of the Non-Party Caretaker Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Justice Latifur Rahman as the convocation speaker, the convocation guests the Honorable Adviser to the Caretaker Government of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Ayub Quadry and the Honorable Chairman of the University Grant Commission, Prof. Dr. M. Asaduzzaman delivered also their valuable addresses. The Founding Chairman, Dr. Anwarul Abedin and the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna delivered their respective inspiring messages to the graduates. They also expressed their utmost gratitude and thanks to the parents and the faculty for their unequivocal support to make the graduates realize their most cherished dreams.
