On October 14, 2017 a Workshop on Raspberry-Pi was organized by AIUB Community of Engineering Students(ACES) at Annex 1, Design Studio Lab III, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). It was a daylong event from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The workshop was machinated by “Engineers Zone” who provides high quality technical & environmental services to industries & different companies.
Mr. Safayet Ahmed (Lecturer, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB & Motivator of ACES) inaugurated the event by welcoming the participants and delivered inspiring words about the importance of technological inventions and how remote access of devices are changing everyone’s life. Afterwards, the Honorable Speaker Mr. Sadi Mahmud (Managing Director of Engineers Zone & Alumni, Department of EEE, AIUB) started the main part of the event by sharing the overall notion of Engineers Zone & a brief introduction to Raspberry-Pi. He also discussed about its application in different aspects of modern world. After him other speakers, Mr. Md. Ahsan Hasib (Chief Consultant of Engineers Zone) & Mr. Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman (Coordinator of Engineers Zone) conducted the working part of this workshop. They exhibited the students how to code & in what manner they can work with Raspberry-Pi device. Each group was provided necessary devices & libraries to work on hand & the Coordinators from the Engineers Zone aided the participants as per requirement. Moreover, the partakers were given various task to make their ideas about the subject matter more vibrant. The session was concluded with a question-answer round with the participants of the workshop.
Mr. Safayet Ahmed gave the closing speech and shared his experiences with the participants to encourage them for sharing their ideas for better and innovative technological designs. Furthermore, He thanked everyone for their presence in the workshop and provided each of the participants with a certificate as a recognition of successful completion of the workshop. Moreover, he also showed his heartiest gratitude by providing Mr. Sadi Mahmud, Mr. Md. Ahsan Hasib and Mr. Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman a token of appreciation. The interactive workshop concluded through involvement of gratitude to the speaker and all the persons who signed up for the workshop.
